BLOOM - pullover hoodie
BLOOM - pullover hoodie
coziness and poetry intersect with this plush black unisex pullover hoodie featuring a left chest hit graphic announcing “I WILL BLOOM AGAIN” and dripping flowers. the back is similarly doused in foliage, and reads the following:
“IT OVERTOOK ME WITH THE RAGE OF AN
UNCONTAINED FIRE
BURNING EVERYTHING IN ITS PATH
THERE IS A SENSUALITY IN
DESTRUCTION
DISRUPTING
STAGNANCY
FLAMES LICK UP MY LIMBS
TAKE ME, I SAID
DESTROY ME, I SAID
TAKE EVERYTHING THAT I AM AND MAKE ME
ASH
AND WHEN THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO BURN
NO WOUNDS TO SUTURE
OR BREATH LIFTING LUNGS
WHEN MY BONES LIE BLEACHED,
CLEAN
MY ROOTS WILL UNFURL AND
I WILL BLOOM
AGAIN.”
this graphic and poem was inspired by the power in inviting personal ruin in order to bring about a self-evolution. there is a necessary destruction that must take place before new life can begin to bloom.
